Melissa Funk, a proud Strasburg native, is deeply rooted in the community she serves. Living in Strasburg with her husband Thomas, their son, and their two dogs—Ryder (a German Shepherd) and Maple (a Golden Retriever)—Melissa brings her strong family values and passion for service into everything she does. As the Vice President of the Strasburg Fire Department, she plays an active role in giving back to her community, and her background in First Responder life continues to shape her approach to both her personal and professional life. She started her career as a Recruiter with Shenandoah County Fire and Rescue and remains a dedicated volunteer with the Strasburg Fire Department.
