At the tender age of 24, Abby obtained her Virginia Real Estate license, a decision that marked the beginning of an illustrious career. Her dedication, coupled with an innate understanding of the real estate market, quickly propelled her to the top of her field. Abby’s achievements did not go unnoticed; she garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious “NVD’s Best REALTOR® in Shenandoah County” and the 2018 Massanutten Association of REALTORS® Salesperson of the Year award.

As demand for her services grew, Abby realized the importance of having a strong team to maintain the high standard of customer service she was known for. Initially, this meant bringing on an assistant and recruiting her husband, Jamie, also a licensed Realtor, to assist with showings. However, Abby’s relentless drive and commitment to excellence soon necessitated the addition of a Transaction Coordinator and another showing agent.

The formation of Team Abby Walters in June 2020 was a significant milestone. Abby expanded her team to include two more Realtors and three assistants, now boasting agents licensed in both Virginia and West Virginia. This expansion was a testament to Abby’s leadership and her team’s ability to adapt and thrive, even in the challenging conditions brought about by the pandemic.

2021 marked the realization of a long-held dream for Abby—the establishment of Preslee Real Estate. Named after a combination of Abby and Jamie’s middle names (Preston + Lee = Preslee), the brokerage was a natural progression in Abby’s journey.
