Raised in Alexandria, VA, Owen’s career in law enforcement had him relocating to the Shenandoah Valley in 2000. As he was establishing roots in the area, he met and befriended Dora Buck, a veteran real estate broker. Their friendship grew as did his interest in real estate. He started a part-time real estate career at Sager Real Estate in 2005, working alongside Dora. It is no surprise that his background in law enforcement (since 1997) and experience as a Game Warden allowed him a vast knowledge of the landscape and natural resources the area has to offer.

From investigating wildlife crimes to conducting search & rescue operations to educating the community, and assisting with conservation programs, the list goes on. Owen’s experience is vast and his skill-set is broad. No one knows our roads, lands, mountains, parks, and waterways better. Along with this expertise, Owen found it natural to gain trust and achieve strong personal connections with local landowners, and community members alike in his desire to serve and protect our geographical expanses. This mutual respect, integrity, heart for service, and strong moral character have gained him a wide rolodex of friends, neighbors, volunteers, and community contacts.

As a current full-time Conservation Police Officer his love for our lands, waterways, roads, trails, farms, and natural resources runs deep. His passion for serving the community in this role makes him a valuable asset to the Preslee Team, with a vast knowledge of every road and acre in the counties of Shenandoah, Frederick, Clark, Warren, and Page.

Owen now resides in Woodstock with his wife, two children and hound dog "Elvis". In his free time, you’ll catch him enjoying nature, raising goats, and even quail!  He loves to travel, loves all things outdoors - hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and of course, real estate.
