Born and raised in Alexandria, VA, Owen Heine’s journey to real estate is rooted in service and community. With a career in law enforcement that brought him to the Shenandoah Valley in 2000, Owen developed a deep connection to the region's landscapes, communities, and natural resources. His passion for the area grew as he established roots, building friendships—most notably with Dora Buck, a respected real estate broker, whose mentorship led him to start his real estate career part-time in 2005.
A former Game Warden with extensive law enforcement experience, Owen’s expertise extends beyond real estate. His background in wildlife conservation, search & rescue operations, and community education has given him an unmatched understanding of the local environment. No one knows the Shenandoah Valley’s roads, mountains, parks, farms, and waterways better than Owen. His commitment to protecting and preserving these lands has earned him the trust and respect of landowners, neighbors, and local volunteers.
Now a full-time Conservation Police Officer, Owen’s dedication to the community and environment runs deep. Owen lives in Woodstock with his wife, two children, and their loyal hound dog "Elvis."
